President's Message

This past year has been especially good for the boys and girls of MacDonell Children’s Services.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your generosity.  The support you provided for our children – especially at our annual "Blue Bayou” Volunteer Activist Gala held in May and during our recent summer appeal – is truly amazing.  Thank you again for all of the many ways you continue to show your concern and interest in our operations.

As we look to our plans for the present year, I would like to remind you that we are in the midst of raising funds for Chrisentery Hall, the new cottage for our 12 girls.  Our Capital Campaign is coming along nicely, but we still have a ways to go.  Please call us if you can help in any way to assure the success of this important development.  Monetary support of any amount is greatly appreciated.

We hope you enjoy our new Web site, and that it gives you a sense of how our children are being cared for.  Your concern, gifts and prayers have sustained us over the years, and have made an important difference in the lives of our children.
